Prom Date?

prom is like 2 weeks away and the guy i asked is 21 and im 18…. he tells me he loves me and all that but he said he was too old for proms…. I explained to him that i didnt want to go with anybody but him…. well a couple days later he was like yeah I’ll go since you dont have anybody to go with…. I was gonna go by myself, ya know with friends and stuff…. i dont want him to go unless he really wants to, but do u think i should take a date or not or what do u think about all this??? anybody go to prom alone, how was it? did u wish u had a date or vise versa??
